ELIGIBILTY & GENERAL INFO:

Grad Student Life Fellow applicants should be full-time registered Yale G&P students in residence for 2015-16, preferably in years 2-6. GSL Fellows work 5-8 hours/week in a flexible schedule that fits well with most coursework, lab, teaching, clinical, and research activities. Fellows receive an honorarium for the academic year, training, professional development opportunities, shared office space, and other perks. Applicants participate in a short interview, and decisions are expected by early May. GSL Fellows service starts August 19, 2015.

I attest that I have reviewed the McDougal GSL Fellows duties and expectations as presented above, and that any questions I may have will be addressed during the interview.

FELLOW PROGRAM AREAS

The Graduate Student Life Fellows program is housed in the McDougal Grad Center in the Graduate School. While most events are open to all G&P students, the programming focuses on the needs and interests of students in the Graduate School. We give some preference to applicants in the Graduate School/GSAS as noted below. We actively seek out applicants whose  professional school experience (i.e., art, drama, music, public health, nursing) gives them special skills and knowledge in that program area.

Students in GSAS/The Graduate School may apply to ANY of the GSL Fellow Program areas: Arts & Culture; Blue Dog Cafe; Family Life; International; Public Service; Religious & Spiritual Life; Social Life; Sports & Recreation; Tech; Wellness & Health.

Students in ANY Yale Grad/Professional School
may apply to be a Fellow in these following GSL  Program areas: Arts & Culture; Blue Dog Cafe; Family Life; Public Service; Religious & Spiritual Life; Tech; Wellness & Health.
