#1: We will need temporary Admin rights on the domain controller.
This can be addressed in any one of the following three options:
A) Have an I.T. staff member with Admin credentials on-site to assist when credentials are needed.
B) Provide us with the admin password (If an I.T. staff member with Admin credentials is unavailable).
C) Create the following "temporary" admin credentials on the domain controller (and delete them once
the assessment is complete). *Preferred method (most customers choose this option).
Password: <customer provides>
Description/Note: "Delete this account on <date of the following day of assessment>"
#2: Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) must be enabled on all computers.
This should be completed by your I.T. staff prior to the assessment (via one of the two options below).
For instructions on enabling WMI on each computer individually, click here
to view a tutorial.
For instructions on enabling WMI on your entire domain via group policy, click here
NOTE: Currently we support Windows environments. Mac/Linux are coming soon.
