The National Student Leadership Congress is an intensive 6-day leadership experience in our nation's capital for first-generation high school students from TRIO programs across the United States and territories. The 30th Annual National Student Leadership Congress will be hosted at Georgetown University and will include: a Mock Congress Competition, Diversity and Inclusion Training, Interactive Learning Lab, Monument Tour, and a day on Capitol Hill.

COE invites Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math and Science and Talent Search projects to nominate outstanding rising juniors or seniors (class of 2020 and 2021) to serve as delegates to COE's National Student Leadership Congress (NSLC). Please select students who are ready for a challenging and intensive learning experience. It is important that student representatives come prepared for the rigors of a program that includes full schedules, requires open minds, and ensures leadership growth.

Student EligibilityRising Junior or Senior (class of 2020 and 2021); must have at least a 3.0 GPA;  must be a current TRIO participant. Only 180 students will be accepted into the program.
