The COE Opportunity Matters Book Club provides an opportunity for TRIO Program Professionals and Alumni to participate in a nationwide conversation about books that deal with cultural identity and the sense of belonging. COE is inviting TRIO Program Professionals and Alumni to establish local or online Opportunity Matters Book Club chapters for an opportunity to discuss themes addressed in this year's book selection.
Conducting a Book Club
In the Spring and Summer of 2025, TRIO Professionals and/or Alumni will have the opportunity to develop local or virtual book clubs. The Council for Opportunity in Education will organize virtual discussions led by 3-5 nationally renowned individuals. TRIO Professionals and/or Alumni will have the chance to attend these virtual talks and engage in discussions about the important themes and ideas explored in the book.
