CABE seeks multilingual student voices about the experience of going back to school!

Students in grades TK-12 are invited to submit a PARAGRAPH or POEM of 200 words or less that responds to the prompt below.  Artwork may be included.

Writing Prompt:
What's it like to get back to school after months of distance learning from home?  Share your experiences, thoughts, and feelings about returning to classrooms during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Submissions will be shared with the CABE Community via social media and on the CABE website. Up to ten selected submissions will be published in an article for the 2022 Multilingual Educator magazine to be distributed at CABE 2022 in San Francisco.

CABE welcomes submissions in English or in the language of student choice—Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Hmong, Korean, Arabic, Punjabi, or others! Submissions in other languages must also include the English translation and any language font files that might be needed for publication.

Note: Upon selection, parent/guardian permission must be obtained prior to publication.
