Beyond Type 1 has created awareness kits to share with those interested in helping raise awareness of the Warning Signs of Type 1 diabetes and advocate for early diagnosis and the prevention of DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis). DKA is a life-threatening condition that is fatal if left untreated and is often a result of undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes.
