If you have arrived at this form, you are wanting to dispute a charge on your security deposit. We understand. Not everything is crystal clear and while we may consider something damaged, you may not see it that way.
We have made it easy to resolve these concerns with this simple process:
1) We document the condition at move in with photos, videos, and notes.
2) We document the condition at move out with photos, videos, and notes.
3) We compare the differences and make an assessment of the differences and determine if they are chargeable items.
Unfortunately, things do get damaged during the tenancy.
Cleaning is clearly defined in your lease, and if you had animals, carpet cleaning is also clearly defined. We worked very hard to clean your property, and we may have missed a few things, so perfection is not what we are expecting. But we do expect it to be at least in the condition you received it as documented by the move in report.
Putting holes in the walls or woodwork are strictly forbidden except for small picture nails. Damage to surfaces is always chargeable except for
ordinary wear and tear.
Your Landlord, not Real Property Management will make all the decisions related to charges. We promise to make this process fair and assist you to with a reasonable solution. We will treat you with respect, please do the same for us. We will put you in contact with the Landlord if necessary.
