Join us at the upcoming Basic Crime Stoppers Course to be held in Fredericksburg, Texas, hosted by Gillespie County Crime Stoppers.
The 16-hour Basic Crime Stoppers Course will provide sixteen hours of TCOLE and CPE credit if you successfully complete all course requirements, attend all sessions, and return all completed course forms. This course fulfills the training requirement for organization certification from the Texas Crime Stoppers Council.

You are responsible for arranging and paying for your own lodging and travel. To make a reservation, please contact the hotel directly. When making your hotel arrangements, ask for the "Texas Crime Stoppers" room block to receive the group rate of $96 per night, plus tax for [double/king].
The agenda includes topics such as: Crime Stoppers History & Overview, Board Roles & Responsibilities, Operational Guidelines, Organizational Fund Management & State Reporting, Media Relations, Marketing, Fundraising, and Campus Crime Stoppers Programs.
A $500 training stipend will be provided to Certified Crime Stoppers organizations to assist with coordinator and board member training travel expenses to this Basic Crime Stoppers Course. To receive the stipend, attendees must successfully complete the training course.
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed after the training. (Receipts are required to be submitted to receive reimbursement.)
- If training expenses are budgeted in your current Crime Stoppers Assistance Fund grant, then your organization is not eligible for this training stipend.
