LICENCE TO PUBLISH

In order to be considered for inclusion in Diamond Light Source Ltd’s Diamond Annual Review, we require the completion of this Licence Agreement.

I am the Author or a Co-Author of the Submission. Copyright in this Submission belongs to my employer (the Owner) and I am authorised to enter into this Licence Agreement in my capacity as an authorised representative of the Owner.

I am the sole Author and sole owner of the Submission.

I am one of a number of Co-Authors and Co-Owners of the Submission. I have the consent of my Co-Authors and Co-Owners to enter into this Licence Agreement.

I am not an Author or a Co-Author of the Submission. Copyright in this Submission belongs to my employer (the Owner) and I am authorised to enter into this Licence Agreement in my capacity as an authorised representative of my employer (the Owner).

I hereby grant to Diamond Light Source Ltd. ("Diamond") a non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to use and publish the Submission and any accompanying tables, illustrations, graphs, data and any other supplementary information in the Diamond Annual Review. This licence entitles Diamond to publish the Submission in all forms and media, specifically including electronic and print forms.

I warrant that the Submission is the original work of the Author/s / Co-Authors and has not been copied (in whole or in part) from any other work. If the Submission includes copyright works of persons other than the Author/s / Co-Authors, the Submission is substantially the original of the Author/s / Co-Authors and all necessary permissions have been obtained for use of such copyright works of other persons.

I warrant that the Submission does not contain any statement that is abusive, defamatory, libellous, obscene or fraudulent. I further warrant that the Submission does not in any way infringe the rights of others, nor is it in any other way unlawful or in violation of the laws of England and Wales.

I hereby indemnify Diamond against all loss, damages, injury, costs and expenses (specifically including legal and other professional fees and expenses) which may arise as a result of a breach of the warranties given by me in this agreement.

I hereby assert the Author’s moral right to be identified as the author of the Submission according to the UK Copyright Designs & Patents Act (1988).

I confirm that this Licence Agreement is subject to English law and the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
