Police Unity Tour Inc.
2014 Chapter X
Vehicle Application
Please fill out the application in full.  Some boxes are required prior to submission.

The Police Unity Tour Inc. Chapter X allows vehicles from individual agencies or among a group of riders to accompany them on the tour to assist us in our mission.  All vehicles participating in the Police Unity Tour Inc. Chapter X must be approved by the Chapter X Executive Board.  The Police Unity Tour Inc. Chapter X is a large undertaking and in order to minimize the impact on the general public the number of vehicles accompanying us will be limited.  Preference, as always, will be given to vehicles which assist us with the overall mission such as motorcycles, passenger vans and marked SUVS with trailers  Any department or group wishing to provide a support vehicle(s) will submit this application prior to the March Meeting.  A complete list of accepted motors, vehicles and trailers will be finalized upon approval.  The list of accepted support vehicles will be available at the April Meeting.  All support vehicles participating in the Tour caravan must be pre-approved by the Support, Route and Motor Chairs.  Any vehicle not approved will at no time participate or interfere with the operation of the Police Unity Tour.  Once the list of approved vehicles is compiled an official Chapter X placard will be issued. Any vehicle not in possession of this placard will not accompany the Tour.  Please note that all vehicles included in the Tour should be accessible to all members of the Tour if the need arises. To assist the Route Chairperson, all operators will be considered Team Leaders.  Any vehicle not needed in the procession will be sent ahead to the rest stop locations.  All Team Leaders should plan accordingly and ensure that their riders are aware of their change of status.  When the non essential vehicles are sent ahead, a Support Van, if feasible, will transport Support Personnel back to meet up with the Caravan, for example in Washington DC.

Without exception all operators and occupants must be accepted members of the Police Unity Tour.  Any member who violates this mandate shall be subject to immediate suspension and removal from the tour.
