Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer. As a CADEM Hotline Operator, you have a very important job in assisting with staffing the CDP Voter Protection Team (VPT) Hotline call center. The call center will be set up by downloading a call center mobile App, Dailpad, to the volunteer's mobile device. All volunteers will answer voter calls remotely, answer voting questions, and report voter issues related to the 2022 California General Election.
CADEM Voter Hotline: (877) 321-VOTE (8683) will be open with volunteer operators answering calls between Monday, October 17, 2022, through to the General Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, until the polls close.
No prior experience is necessary to volunteer to be a CADEM Voter Protection Team Hot Line Operator. You must be willing to learn technology, have a passion for helping voters with their voting questions, and have a sense of duty to protect everyone's voting rights. Training will be provided before your call center volunteer shift.
Please Note: For CADEM staff to confirm you as a VPT CADEM Hotline Operator, you must complete the following task first:
1. Complete this form by Tuesday, October 4, 2022, to request your preferred hotline shift from the list of shifts provided on this form.
2. You must have completed at least one voter protection training to receive an email confirming the shifts you have signed up for to become a CADEM Hotline Operator.
Once you have completed one VPT Training your preferred shifts will be confirmed to work as a CADEM Voter Resource Hotline Operator for the General Election.
If you have any questions, please contact the Party Services Department VPT Call Center Leads Emma Harper, Unique Wilson, Estevan Rojas, and Charisse Narain at <
