All trip and vehicle requests must be entered in TripView.
 
To request a vehicle or trip you will need an individual login. To have an account created please send an email to support@nftgps.com with your first and last name, email address, campus, and field trip access in the body of the email. Once your account is created you will receive an email with your login credentials.

Once logged in select --> Field Trips --> New Trip
 
To see trip requests and approved trips select --> Field Trips --> Trip Calendar 
 
 
Trip Request Instructions: 
  1. Use uppercase letters for all entries.
  2.  The trip name entry should begin with the campus initials followed by the group/grade level/boys or girls and sport. It should end with the destination and purpose. 
  3. The goal is to be able to easily identify the trip in a list and maintain a format. 
  4. Use the Note tab to communicate that you do not need a driver and who will be driving the bus or vehicle.  A driver will be assigned if there are no notes stating that there is a teacher or coach driver.
  5. Examples of Trip Request Names and Formatting: 
  • VHS PRINCIPAL B BASKETBALL @ALVARADO
  • VMS G SOCCER TOURNAMENT @ HILLSBORO
  • VES 4TH GRADE TO PLANETARIUM
  • VPS 1ST GRADE TO FT WORTH ZOO
  • ADMIN CONFERENCE 3 DAYS IN HOUSTON 
Having an individual login ensures email confirmation of your request, notification of updates by email when your request is approved,  when a vehicle is assigned, if additional information is needed or in the rare instance a vehicle is not available.
