Terms and Conditions (Please Read Carefully!)

Cookie Costumes are on a first come, first served basis. 

During the Cookie Program (January – March), a troop can rent ONE costume at a time. Costumes must be picked up at the front desk of the requested Service Center.They must be picked-up by Noon* on the day requested. If the not, the costume will be offered to the next troop on the waiting list. Costumes must be returned by Noon* on the specified return date. If not, the deposit will be kept by Council.


*Please note that not all offices are open every day.  Please make an appointment to pick-up or drop off costumes for offices that are on flex schedules. 

PLEASE NOTE: Cookie Costumes are property of GSHPA. There is a $25 deposit (Check ONLY) required for each costume.  When terms and conditions are met, the $25 deposit will be returned to the borrowing party. If the borrowing party fails to return the costume, or if the costume is returned in poor condition, the deposit will be kept.

Costumes may only be rented for a maximum of three (3) business days. Costume availability is based on demand. We cannot confirm that a specific cookie variety will be available, but if approved, you will receive one costume. 

If costumes are not returned to Council, the loaning-party will be financially responsible for the replacement and in addition will not receive their $25 deposit back.

Tuesday & Thursday 11 AM - 1 PM (plus by appointment)

Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Tuesday & Wednesday, 11 AM - 1 PM (plus by appointment)

State College
Monday & Tuesday, 11 AM - 1 PM (plus by appointment)

Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (plus by appointment)

Terms of Agreement

By signing this Terms of Agreement, the Borrower agrees to follow the Terms and Conditions listed above, in addition:

It is understood that the rented Costume will remain in the condition received and will not be repaired, restored, cleaned or altered in any way without the permission of Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania. The Costume may not be loaned to a third party without the advance approval of GSHPA. The renter agrees to use the Costume only for purposes of representing Girl Scouts and in agreement to abide by the Girl Scout Law. The renter is responsible for returning the Costume within 3 business days of renting.  The renter agrees to the Terms of Agreement on this form and agrees to place a $25 deposit at the time of pick-up. The Renter agrees that Council has the right to deny the return of the $25 deposit if Renter does not follow the Terms of Agreement as stated in this agreement.
