Order Completion
To place an order, HouseWerks requires a 25% non-refundable Materials Deposit for most orders. The deposit is 45% if you specified stained or colored lacquer finishes. For some small orders a 65% deposit is required. The calculation is based on the total price of the order.

After your completed order form is received, HouseWerks will send you an e-mail to verify receipt of your order. You will also receive an e-mail with your invoice attached and a secure link to make online payment with your VISA or MasterCard of the required Materials Deposit. This secure link is to our merchant bank, Wells Fargo. HouseWerks will not receive any of your credit card information, only verification by Wells Fargo that your deposit has been made.
If you don't have one of these credit cards, HouseWerks also accepts USPS money orders and Western Union. No checks are accepted.
When HouseWerks receives notice that your deposit has been received, we place your order on our production schedule. You will received verification that payment has been received.
All orders are completed in the sequence in which the Materials Deposits are received. The time required to complete your order depends upon the number of orders ahead of your order on the production schedule. HouseWerks will provide an estimated completion date, which can range from 2-3 weeks during the slower months and up to 5-6 weeks during the busier months.
HouseWerks reserves the right to extend the planned completion date, if needed. Because our products are all hand-crafted and made to our customers specifications, some orders require more time to complete than anticipated. As we proceed with your order, we can be more specific with regard to the completion date.
If you must have your order completed by a specific date, make sure that you communicate that to us. If we cannot complete your order by the date needed, we will tell you before you are very far along in the planning process.
When your order is complete, photographs are taken of your shelving unit and posted on our web site. You will receive an e-mail with links to the photos and the final invoice, as well as a secure link for making final payment. After HouseWerks receives notice that your payment has been received, your shelving is packed and is scheduled for pickup by DHL or FedEx. Your shelving will be delivered to your door within 4-7 days after pickup.
